Competitive Winter Training


A competitive level training program for players who are interested in keeping their foot skills up to par, gaining more confidence on the ball, and improving their overall fitness and strength.  This program is offered to any player who plays competitive soccer in the Mid-Missouri area and is looking to stay active during the winter months.

When signing up for the winter training that runs from Dec 6th – Feb 22nd you are signing up for a 10-week program, whoever it is not required to be there all 10 weeks. We based the training package off of a 7-week program and adding in the month of December as a bonus.  There will be no training or games the week of December 25th – December 31st or January 1st – January 7th. All practices will resume the week of January 8th.    

What is included:
10 weeks of training/practices
10 30 min SAFT classes
10 4v4 games


Session Details:
Boy’s 10-week option that starts December 6th – February 21st
No Practice or games December 25th – January 7th

Girl’s 10-week option that starts December 7th – February 22nd
No Practice or games December 25th – January 7th

Boy’s Practice: (Wednesday Nights)
Practice will be 1 hour long
Players will practice on Wednesday nights.
Players will need to sign up for their appropriate age groups.

Potential Schedule: (This is subject to change)
U8/U9: 5:30 – 6:30pm
U10/U11: 6:30 – 7:30pm
U12/U13: 7:30 – 8:30pm

Girl’s Practice: (Thursday Nights)
Practice will be 1 hour long
Players will practice on Thursday nights.
Players will need to sign up for their appropriate age groups.

U11/U12: 5:30 – 6:30pm 
U13/U14: 7:30-8:30pm
U15: 6:30-7:30pm


SAFT:
SAFT (Speed Agility Fitness Training) is our strength and agility program that is included with our Competitive Winter Training. This program is designed to focus on linear and multi-directional movements, explosive power, speed work and strength exercises. This will be age appropriate for all groups training. A variety of equipment such as bands, ladders, pull-up bars, medicine balls, TRX straps, boxes and kettle bells will be used depending on the age groups.

Boy’s SAFT Schedule: (Wednesday Nights)
Practice will be 30 minutes long

U8/U9: 6:30-7:00pm
U10/U11: 7:30-8:00pm
U12/U13: 7:00– 7:30pm

Girl’s SAFT Schedule: (Thursday Nights)
Practice will be 30 minutes long other than the U15 girls (1 hour)

U11/U12: 6:30-7:00pm
U13/U14: 7:00-7:30pm
U15: 5:30-6:30pm

Games:
4v4 games will be schedule for Saturday during the day.  There could possibly be a Sunday game scheduled if necessary.
All games will be played at the Synergy Sports Facility, 4205 I70 DR SE Columbia, MO 65201.
Players can request to be with one friend, but the Synergy staff will randomly set all teams.

Cost:
10-week option is $200.00 from December 6th/7th – February 21st/22nd
