WHAT ARE CAMP HOURS?
Regular Day Camp and Summer Camp hours are 7:45am-5:30pm for full day registration. If you wish to do half-day registration that is available in-house and your child can attend camp for 4 hours. For Sports Camps (Soccer, Basketball or Volleyball Specific Camps) hours will vary. For the most part they will be from 9:00am-3:00pm.
WHEN DO I REGISTER MY CHILD FOR SUMMER CAMP?
Registration is now open. Pre-registration is required for all camps and done online. This includes summer camp, day camps and holiday camps. Synergy reserves the right to cancel camp at any time due to low registration numbers.
WHAT IS THE SSM (Synergy Sports Membership) FEE?
The Synergy Sports Membership Waiver is required for ALL children’s activities. The cost is $25 and paid annually on August 1st.
WHEN DO I PAY FOR SUMMER CAMP, SPORTS CAMPS, DAY CAMPS ETC?
You must pay for summer camp the first day that your camper attends for the week or each day that your camper attends. Pre-registration is required in order to guarantee a place.
WHAT DOES MY TEAM MEMBER NEED TO BRING EACH DAY?
Send your camper in athletic clothes that can get dirty and tennis shoes. Campers need to come with a backpack that has a water bottle, lunch, snacks and a small amount of money for snacks if they do not bring their own second snack. Kona Ice will be coming on Wednesday’s if your camper would like to purchase something.
WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS ALLERGIES, MEDICAL CONDITIONS OR OTHER SPECIAL NEEDS?
Be sure to fill out our medical form and leave it at the Synergy Sports Office and discuss any concerns with a Synergy Sports instructor. Synergy Sports welcomes children with special needs; please contact our camp director at email@example.com to discuss. If a child is injured, first aid will be administered, and 911 will be called in an emergency.
WHAT IF MY CHILD IS SICK OR IS UNABLE TO ATTEND SUMMER CLUB FOR ANOTHER REASON?
If your child misses a day, a phone call is appreciated, but not required. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for any missed days. The only exception is for a withdrawal on doctor’s orders, in which case we will prorate a refund based on the remaining days of camp. Synergy Sports will not issue refunds for a child dismissed from a program because of unacceptable behavior.
WHEN DO CAMPERS SWIM AND GO ON FIELD TRIPS?
Our goal is to swim everyday, however this is dependent on pool temperatures, weather forecast and pool availability. If there is a 40% chance of rain or higher we will not go to the pool. Please pack your campers swim suit, towel, sunscreen and deck shoes everyday.
New to Synergy this summer are field trips. We will be going to a few different places with the campers to bring new games and experiences for them. We will be going to:
Synergy Sports Soccer Fields
Rock Bridge State Park
Stephens Lake Park
Again, if there is a 40% chance of rain or higher we will not be leaving the club. If we do go on a field trip, we will depart Synergy by 9:00am. If your camper is not there by that time, we will have a counselor that will stay back and run games at the club.
There is a waiver we will have you sign at check-in the days we are going on a field trip for the first time your camper is with us.
HOW ARE CAMPERS TRANSPORTED TO THE POOL AND ON FIELD TRIPS?
Synergy owns a bus to take the kids to and from the pool as well as on the field trips. We will sit 2 to a seat and have plenty of counselors to keep an eye on them while we are going to our destinations.
WHAT IS OUR REFUND POLICY
Once your athlete is registerd for a program, there will be no refund. If you need to cancel for any reason, you will receive a credit towards a different Synergy Sports program. This credit can be used for the following programs: Birthday Parties, Camps, Rec Basketball, Rec Soccer, Rec Volleyball, Little Strikers, Little Ballers, and Field Rentals.
DO YOU HAVE A BEHAVIOR POLICY?
Synergy Camps emphasizes a safe and fun camp environment for all campers so behavior is essential to a good overall experience for everyone involved. Should a camper chose not to follow the rules set forth, the following steps will be taken to handle the situation:
- Verbal Warning
- Camper removed from the group for a period of time to redirect behavior
- Parent will be notified of behavior
If behavior continues camper will be asked to leave camp. Synergy Camps reserves the right to dismiss a camper without refund for any behavior that threatens or endangers the welfare and/or safety of a camper, instructor, or person involved in camp is any form of bullying to fellow campers or camp authority or has disrespectful behavior to camp authority.
ARE ELECTRONICS OR OUTSIDE TOYS ALLOWED?
Please do not send your child to camp with electronics, fidget spinners or outside toys other than their own ball. They will not be allowed to play with them or use them during camp hours.
IS THERE A LOST AND FOUND?
If your child forgot something, please check with the counselors. We take everything else to Good Will once a month otherwise.
